Lockdown 2 coming but schools stay open - Chancellor says there WILL be more job losses.

Richi Sunak says there will be more job losses once Lockdown 2 kicks in on Thursday 5 November. He also states that lockdown will end on 2 December as a matter of law - we shall see!

Boris Johnson set out plans for a month-long lockdown in England from Thursday until 2 December.

He will extend the furlough scheme until December.

Pubs and restaurants will close except for takeaways, along with non-essential shops – but schools and universities will remain open.

Different households will be banned from mixing, although support bubbles and childcare bubbles will remain.
