Ep. 168 "May I Take Your Order?" Let’s Talk Tickers on Taco Tuesday LTKHLTH

We have a problem in the hospital industry.

We’re half-assing care and the pre-covid cabbage patches are growing exponentially. While they are not killed by covid, this factory of death marches on with decreasing survivability for patients in vegetative states as family facetimes in hopes that they can illicit an eyebrow movement to justify continual torture of a human being by forcing one more last breath at a rate of 12-30 a minute. All this, while management continues to force mandatory responses from the staff to redundant alerts thereby impeding an already dysfunctional method of healthcare.

We’re illiterate, and it matters. We know not what we do. Most importantly, how the hospital works.

Your ability to walk out is directly tied to how well you walked or wheeled in.

Our biggest problem here and perhaps abroad is that healthcare is not a product and the hospital is not a restaurant.
