The third public hearing into the U.S. Capitol attack is shedding new light on former president Donald Trump's attempts to force former vice-president Mike Pence to overturn the 2020 election, and how Pence never caved.

The committee investigating the siege revealed the depths of the efforts to pressure Pence, all based on false claims that he could stop the certification of Joe Biden's victory.
