Montreal gears up for fast and festive return of Formula 1's Canadian Grand Prix

After a three-year absence due to the pandemic, Formula 1 racing is finally back in Montreal, with the Canadian Grand Prix is set to kick into high gear again.

Fans and business owners are thrilled - the event generates tens of millions of dollars in economic spin-offs for the city. The race is considered the unofficial kickoff to Montreal's summer tourism season and this year should rival that of 2019, which was a record year.
