Ammunition Selection - The Ready Room Podcast Ep. 18

Today I would like to help out anybody who may be newer to the firearms community. What ammunition works best for hunting or self-defense? What ammunition should you use when you're just shooting at the range for practice? What ammunition should you look into if you're getting into precision shooting? This stuff can get confusing, and it's not your fault. There have never been more ammunition options than now, so we want to help anybody out that may have some questions about this topic.

We also want to help people identify the correct ammunition they should purchase. There are different methods for measuring or naming a cartridge and this leads to things like there being over a dozen "9mm" cartridges, which obviously can get confusing as well. So, we're going to give some basic information on how to properly identify ammunition and purchase the correct type for your firearm. We want every gun owner to be safe, knowledgeable, and feel welcome in the community. Hope you enjoy!
