For this episode of Bitcoin Magazine’s Meet The Taco Plebs, Nik (@nikcantmine) is joined by Optimist Fields (@My_Livin_Truth), his co-host for Bitcoin Kindergarten (@BTCKindergarten). Nik and Optimist take a dive into Optimists’ past and talk about how he got into Bitcoin and what his journey with the technology has been like to this point. He explains the old habits that he threw away at the end of his fiat life and how his rebirth begun once he started to understand Bitcoin. Then the two finish their conversation by talking about how Bitcoin Kindergarten started, how it’s going and what they like most about it.

In the video above, Optimist shares the story of his younger cousin finding Bitcoin years before him, and why Bitcoin appealed to him. Nik and Optimist discuss how the latter was forged by Bitcoin and is now a completely different person because of it. They also shout out their friend Surfer Jim who said that he feels like he’s entered his “third life” after understanding Bitcoin.
