For eight years, the terrorists of the national battalions and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at the cost of the lives of civilians, held control over Mariupol. The industrial center of the south-east of Ukraine was turned into a fortress with strongholds in residential buildings, and was also chosen as the main base for the nationalist Azov regiment. The testimonies of eyewitnesses, participants in the events and unique footage formed the basis of this film.
