Health Insurance

Health insurance is a financial product that is already quite familiar to the people of Indonesia. In 2018 alone, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) noted that out of 262 million Indonesians, 208 million of them or equivalent to 79.4% were covered by health insurance.

That is, out of every 1,000 residents, there are 794 people who already have health insurance. This figure shows an increase when compared to 2017, where only 716 people are known to have health protection from 1,000 residents.
