This was actually years ago - it was 2017 & I was 17.
I experienced life-changing events during my time on that stunning island that the way I viewed life was forever changed, for the better.
I was in a confused rut that year of my life & I genuinely felt that the only thing that could help, was to change my surroundings for a while.

(Btw, it wasn’t like I was lacking anything in my life - like love from friends/family, or anything I needed - so to pinpoint a cause for my feeling that way simply isn’t possible.)

Though at the time I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed being there, there were moments in which I wasn’t as present as I could’ve been, due to the mental blur I was working through.
When you feel confused (or down) you won’t view life as grand as it truly is.

That just goes to show how it doesn’t matter if everything in your life is made of diamonds, rainbows & gold - if your mental state isn’t right, none of it matters.
