So I had the idea to see how difficult it would be to start the original game, red version in this case, with a weaker Pokemon. I changed the 3 starter Pokemon to Weedle, Caterpie and Pidgey. I picked my starter (Weedle), and my rival picked Caterpie. To be honest the game wasn't as difficult as it was tedious, but nevertheless, I still had a great time playing! If anyone would like to also try it out, I have the IPS patch linked in the description. I used both the Missingno glitch to increase some of my item quantities, and the Mew glitch to catch both mew and Lapras. Let me know in the comments what you think, and if you'd like me to expand upon the hack in any way.
