Parrot Analytics is a company founded to discern what data means when applied to consumer attention to various media. They focus primarily on all television media at the moment. While the proclaim the ability to track a show even on a streaming platform with no transparency they want media companies paying attention for another reason. They want to predict what will succeed in the marketplace. Based on many factors they ignore in their heavily weighted data scraping activities, they will continue to be wrong for the foreseeable future. Worse yet, if taken seriously, they could lead us further down the road of bland, uninteresting, and agenda driven programs and films in the future.
