When we pray, we need to know and stand in the truth of our identity in Jesus. There was a time that we were alienated from God, separated from Him - an enemy of His, deserving of wrath. But by faith in Jesus' finished work, all of that is changed! We are brand new! We are His sons and daughters. Once we were lost and dead in sin, but now we have been found and brought into the Kingdom of Light. We are the FOUND! We've been made holy, righteous, and good... so when we pray, we come boldly to our Father in heaven as a child comes to their daddy, knowing that He hears us, and He responds... Because of our identity in Jesus, we have the ability and privilege to stand in His presence, to intercede for the nations, to pray for our families, to see Him break into our situations...
