Installed in 2018 as North America's most technologically advanced lift, Ramcharger 8 transports skiers from the Mountain Village to the top of Andesite Mountain. Boyne Resorts partnered with the Doppelmayr shop in Wolfurt, Austria to bring this feat of engineering to Big Sky. Ramcharger 8 is the first eight-seat chairlift in North America and the first D-line Direct Drive chairlift to debut in the world.
