How to make Brazilian Green Broth / Como Fazer Caldo Verde
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 kg of potato.
• 400g of calabrese sausage cut into thin slices.
• 1 bunch of cabbage leaves finely chopped.
• 3 crushed garlic cloves.
• seasoning of your choice.
• 100g of chopped bacon.
• 1 chopped onion.
• Olive oil for frying the bacon
• Parsley and chives
• Salt and black pepper
PREPARATION:
1. Cook the potatoes in salted water until very tender. Drain the potatoes and reserve the water.
2. Fry the bacon in olive oil and add the sausages, onion, garlic, seasonings and set aside.
3. Blend the potatoes with a little of the cooking water until creamy.
4. Add this cream to the fried sausages and bring to boil.
5. Add the cabbage leaves and cook for 3 minutes.
6. Serve with toasts.

INGREDIENTES:
• 1kg de batata.
• 400g de linguiça calabresa cortada em rodelas finas.
• 1 maço de folhas de couve cortada bem fininha.
• 3 dentes de alho amassados.
• 1 sachê de sazon nordeste.
• 100g de bacon picado.
• 1 cebola picada.
• Azeite à gosto para fritar o bacon
• Salsa e cebolinha à gosto.
• Sal e pimenta-do-reino à gosto.
MODO DE PREPARO:
1. Cozinhe as batatas em água e sal até ficarem bem macias. Escorra as batatas e reserve a água.
2. Frite o bacon no azeite e junte as linguiças, a cebola, o alho, os temperos, refogue bem e reserve.
3. Bata as batatas no liquidificador com um pouco da água do cozimento até formar um creme.
4. Junte esse creme com as linguiças fritas e deixe ferver.
5. Acrescente a couve e cozinhe por 3 minutos.
6. Sirva com torradas.
