Live: Fed Chair Jerome Powell's Press Conference

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell's press conference following the Fed's June FOMC meeting and the expected hike to the fed funds rate. Calls for a 75 basis point rate hike have become more common after last friday's unexpectedly high Consumer Price Index (CPI) report. At the press conference Powell will likely be pressed for details about future rate hikes and the unwinding of the Fed's balance sheet (quantitative tightening), inflation, and the prospects for a recession.
