Boot Sock off - Never a Good Sign!
In competitive sports, will power and sheer determination are key attributes of a top athlete. These unsung heroes are always driven by a strong winning mentality and resilience from painful injuries. With football being such a physical sport, any rough tackle can lead to harmful and painful foot injuries which any football player will have experienced. There are different types of foot injuries, with the twisting of ankles quite common when players collide or fight for the ball. Ankle injuries are normally excruciatingly painful. It is not surprising then, that even the most resilient players will succumb immediately to the sharp pain. Despite the embarrassment of having to remove their boots and socks for treatment, pretty female players have to face the reality of letting physios remove their footwear. When foot injuries occur on the field, chances are the boot and sock have to be removed immediately. Hence, it is never a good sign when players’ boot and sock need to come off.
