SV Ramble On | V-Berth Headliner

Putting new headliner in a sailboat is a bit like painting a room in a house. There's a fair amount of prep work; it's not difficult, but the difference it makes is huge. Our boat has a thin vinyl headliner glued directly to the fiberglass throughout. Most of it is in really good shape. We painted over it years ago and it looks as good as new. Except in the V-berth. Since we were ripping it down anyway, we decided to add a layer of foam insulation. Hopefully it will keep it dry and warm/cool depending on the season.

Marterials Used:
EverSoftâ„¢ White 54" Foam Backed Headliner
EverSoftâ„¢ 3/4" Hidem Gimp White
3Mâ„¢ General Trim Adhesive
HH‑66 Vinyl Cement
3/8" neoprene foam
Gel Contact Cement

On a side note, I've been goofing around with Garageband and made a few little riffs from some of their stock loops to use in our videos. Apple's license agreement states their loops are royalty free, yet my first upload of this video was flagged for copyright. I've disputed it, but they have 30 days to make a decision and I'm tired of waiting/anxious to finally release a new video. So, no new music this time which is such a bummer.
