Q. Why do so many believers live defeated lives?

Q. Why do so many believers live deflated lives?

Q. Why do so many believers live demoralizing lives?

Answer is all the same… they are not equipping themselves for the fight.

Here is God’s promise to us:

Philippians 1:6

We call this process sanctification. It is the ability of God to change and transform our sin nature to divine nature. This process takes place at salvation!

God does this by building His character in our lives.

Spiritual Warfare is not technique, spiritual warfare is spiritual character. The more we become like Jesus, the more we are victorious against our enemy…Satan.

Ephesians 6:10-20

The Win Defined: To Stand Firm. ( v.13)

The Weapons Of Our Warfare. (vv. 14-18)

1. The Belt Of Truth

The roman soldier wore a thick leather belt around his waist to hold all of his armor together.

This is your commitment to truth.

When we buckle the belt of truth around our waist we are making a commitment to remove the WAX of hypocrisy.

When we buckle the belt of truth around our waist we commit to allow God’s truth be our center or anchor of our character.

John 14:6, 6Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

The belt connects or holds everything together. Without truth there is no power!

John 15:26

The belt of the Roman soldier held his sword. Truth and God’s Word Hold Each other together.

Application:
