Dimension of Survival

Man has reached a point where we must seek a safe haven
to survive--
I implore you: where might this place be found?

Scrutinize our calamitous situation--
Our resources gone
society is too apathetic to act.

Solutions have been postulated; forums organized.
Labels have been stamped but only offer the quick fix.
Our pure waters are polluted, air is toxic, fertile soil is depleted.

We fixate on Global warming—the why and how of it,
food that has been genetically modified,
yet quality of existence spirals downward.

We are inhabitants without the will to stop,
and our planet dies a bit with every labored breath.
We are weary; our once pregnant earth is ready to miscarry.

Tell me how we can be saved!!
