A few basic hints and tips for registering as self employed / sole trader and information on when and how to file your tax return.
This is rather a broad topic and I've tried to touch on the essentials of what is required to register and complete a UK (HMRC) Self Assessment Tax return.

The key thing to remember here is that HMRC have made it as simple as possible for you to complete the online assessment forms as they are keen for you to get it right and have it be as simple as possible - they want your money...trust me! :D

I do mention it in the video, but I will do so again here - I am in no way a financial expert or tax advisor, this video is simply what I feel is the correct way to go about registering for Self Assessment / Sole Trader and what to include in your expenses etc. If in doubt contact HMRC or speak to your financial advisor / accountant.
