Hunting on the Homestead - Opening Weekend | Deer Season 2020

Its deer season in Kentucky!

This weekend was opening weekend for deer season in Kentucky so Ragon heads to the woods and tries to harvest a deer. Our goals for hunting, on the farm and elsewhere, are to maintain a healthy deer herd and to put meat in the freezer. It is a blessing to be able to walk out into our backyard, sit and enjoy nature, and try to provide for our family.
We had some neat encounters both days and even managed to get some of them on video. The best one, however, we did not. Stay tuned until the end to hear about it!
