Winnipeggers: Episode 18 - Pre-Internet Days

Before there was internet, WiFi, phones and tablets, how on earth did people communicate and entertain themselves? Luckily, the teenage Winnipeggers were alive (and survived) that prehistoric, pre-digital era, and are sharing their stories from that nearly-forgotten time.
See how many you remember: rotary phones, call-waiting, typewriters and white out, and Atari!
They also talk no-app dating and getting wrong numbers from chicks at the end of the night; standing in line for concert tickets and new albums; and door-to-door encyclopedia salesmen!
There was no email, texting, YouTube, Wikipedia or Setlist.fm.

But they do name as many French foods as they can!

And thanks to this week’s sponsor – “Promenade Café And Wine,” fine French dining in Winnipeg! They are open for curbside pickup and home delivery.
