Yes, I like old stuff. It's more affordable and that makes it more fun. I replaced the heavy seats with light weight racing seats, added a light weight exhaust system and light weight plexiglass top which overall trimmed 200 pounds. Yes, I have a scale in my garage.

Regarding performance, I installed wider, lower profile tires. It had great handling and already had a top speed of 154 mph so I left that alone. After removing 200 pounds of weight I replaced the original jack screws in the rear suspention with longer ones to lower it about 2 inches.
