The REAL Molly Brown: Her Life BEFORE Titanic

Molly Brown, who was NEVER known as Molly in her lifetime, led a colorful and FAR more interesting and productive life than the ridiculous myths that have surrounded her legacy, myths invented mostly by Gene Fowler after her death. In my opinion the real Margaret Brown is much more interesting. In part one we learn about her childhood in Hannibal, Missouri, her early years in Leadville, Colorado, and her life in Denver. Part 2 will be her Titanic experience and part 3 her later years. The main source for this video was Molly Brown: Unraveling the Myth by Kristen Iverson. It is the only biography endorsed by Margaret’s family.
