A Bank Run in China and Nobody is Talking About it!

What started with 3 small regional banks in Henan Province "going down for maintenance" has grown into 6 regional banks in 2 provinces locking out their customers for nearly 3 months. Now withdrawals are being limited in Shanghai. In totally unrelated news, bank customers planning to protest are having their health QR Codes mysteriously turned red, and more lockdowns are underway in major cities across China. The banks in quesiton are:

Yuzhou Xinminsheng Village Bank (located in Xuchang City, Henan Province)
Zhecheng Huanghuai Bank (City of Shangqui, Henan Province)
Shangcai Huimin Rural Bank (Zhumadian City, Henan Province)
New Oriental Village Bank (City of Kaifeng, Henan Province)
Huaihe River Village Bank (Bengbu City, Anhui Province)
Yixian County Village Bank (Huangshan City, Anhui Province)
