#friedcabbage #recipes #healthfood #lowcarbdiet This is an healthier version of southern fried cabbage with turkey bacon, coconut oil or/and extra virgin olive oil or/and avocado oil. We even include stevia sweetener and organic agave sweeteners.
recipe:
1 cabbage
1 or 2 sweet onions
artificial sweetener (stevia or splenda etc..)
black pepper
hot pepper sauce
2 or more colored peppers
2 tablespoons of agave
some coconut, avocado, or/and extra virgin oil
a small pack of turkey bacon
recipe- instructions:
1. cut up your one cabbage into
small pieces and let it sit in salted water for at least 30 minutes; also cut your onions and peppers and lay them aside.
2. Cook your turkey bacon the deep skillet that you use but leave the fat in the deep skillet
3.Add a little of your oil of your choosing and top it off by adding a layer of the onions and peppers.
4.Cut up your cooked turkey bacon in small pieces and add some on top of the onions and peppers. Stir.
5.then add the sweetener of your choice a few drops of agave and little sweetener
6. add a few drops of hot sauce
7. stir contents thoroughly and then add a layer of cabbage then stir again then cover.
8. Let some of the cabbage cook down and then add another layer of cabbage with a few drops of oil,hot sauce, and small pieces of cooked turkey bacon-Keep stirring-if not cover the deep skillet
9. repeat adding cabbage, drops of oil, hot sauce as the cabbage cooks down in the deep skillet.
10. If you are not stirring the fried cabbage keep the skillet covered so most of the water can boil out.
