35 years old Jessica Lewis was a mother of 4 children, two who have graduated from high school, one still in middle school and one who’s “old enough to know what’s going on.
Jessica was beautiful, a ray of sunshine and always thoughtful of others. She was born in Maple Valley and most recently lived around Seatac.
Jessica worked at Laura’s Adult Family Home, an assisted living facility where she supported older and developmentally disabled adults.
She just had the grace and patience to be able to do that. She had a big heart … and was willing to help anyone who needed anything.”

Austin Wenner, 27 years old, was also a Washington native, from Kent.
Jessica and Austin had been in a relationship for about eight years.
They had hard times, but they always stuck through it together.
Austin Wenner had faith, a big heart, and loved the outdoors, country music, campfires, trucks, dogs, Jessica and his family.

A group of teenage friends were exploring Seattle when they made a horrifying discovery under a bridge — human remains packed into a suitcase.

In a video uploaded on TikTok, the teens can be seen laughing as they use a stick to poke the suitcase, not knowing what's inside. Once they manage to open it, they discover a foul-smelling trash bag, prompting the teenagers to call the police.
"It stinks, ya'll!" one of the teens can be heard saying in the TikTok video, which has been viewed more than 4.3 million times.
The group's worst suspicions were later confirmed: Seattle police announced they were launching an investigation after verifying the suitcase did contain a dead body.

The teens were led to the suitcase by a new explorer app called Randonautica, which promises to "turn the world around you into an adventure," according to its website.
The app gives users — otherwise known as "Randonauts" — a randomly generated set of coordinates in their local area to explore. Before traveling there, however, users are encouraged to set an "intention" or a goal, with the theory that once they get to their destination, they will find something relevant to what they had thought.
The Randonauting trend has especially become a popular way to explore during the coronavirus lockdown, with more than a million people downloading the app in June 2020.
According to its official website, Randonautica is "the world's first quantumly-generated "Choose Your Own Adventure" reality game."

A Seattle-area landlord was arrested on suspicion of murdering a couple whose bodies were found by the teens following the adventure app.

Documents filed on 24th of August 2020, in King County Superior Court allege that Michael Lee Dudley, 62 years old, fatally shot Jessica Lewis, 35 years old and Austin Wenner, 27 years old, in the room they were renting, in a house he owned in Burien. Michael Dudley admitted to police that he argued with them about unpaid rent.
The bodies, stuffed in a suitcase and a duffel bag, were found on June 19 at a West Seattle beach. Seattle police found the two near Duwamish Head , after receiving a call of a suspicious bag on the beach. They also found another bag in the water.
A video the teenagers who found the suitcase posted on TikTok shows them investigating a suitcase on the rocky shore, first laughing and joking, and then becoming serious and calling 911.
According to the Medical Examiner’s Office, Jessica Lewis’ cause of death was from multiple gunshot wounds, while Austin Wenner died of a single gunshot wound. Officials estimated the two died around June 10 2020.
Police have said little about the ongoing investigation.
