Donbass War: Ukraine’s mass bombardment on Donetsk People’s Republic

Ukrainian forces have subjected residential areas of Donetsk – as well as other locations across the DPR – to rocket and conventional artillery shelling over the past few days.

On June 13, Ukrainian troops attacked the city of Donetsk, killing five people, including a child, and wounding 33 others (TASS).

On the same day, the Vishnevsky Maternity Hospital building in Donetsk was also shelled by Ukrainian troops.

Cluster munitions were banned by the UN Oslo Convention yet French self-propelled artillery units 155-mm CAESAR have already been in service with the AFU since April. The transfer of the CAESARs from France was claimed on April 22, 2022.
