Huge Water Devil Den part 3 - The Alliance Alive

This caught me off guard. All the way off guard. I expected a fight or at least some reistance but ran into someone decent. I have to know th lore behind the water devils and their dens now. Where does this sentience come from and why did I have to kill everything that came before them.
