On December 18th, 2008, just a few days before Christmas, a handsome baby boy is born to Robin Collins and Al-Muhatan McLean, in Wisconsin.
This was the most precious Christmas gift any one could ask for.
But was it?

Takoda Collins was a bright and smart 10 year old boy, exceptionally intelligent, he loved reading and he was truly creative. He loved to dance and rap. He would also create or complete lyrics better than anyone. In rare photos of Takoda you see a genuinely happy boy, enjoying life. You wouldn’t imagine in a million years the hell he went through in his short life, at the hands of his own dad, one who should have been a fatherly figure, one who should have protected him, reassured him when he had nightmares, telling him there are no monsters, yet his dad was the monster in his room and Takoda’s nightmares were his every living hours of every day and night.

This is the tragic story of Takoda Collins.

I could very well avoid the explicit details, but I am not going to sugercoat something which can not be sugar coated with any amount of sugar in this world… and this is something which happened in real life and I think this little boy deserves his story to be told. The world needs to know exactly what he went through in his short life.
