In March, educator Angelica Medvedev lost her husband and only son, Denis, in Mariupol, whom she could not even bury. She escaped from "hell" with her daughter-in-law, who lost 15 kilograms, and her little granddaughter. She still shudders when she hears the sound of an airplane, and instinctively begins to warm her hands over a cup of tea.
Angelika was born in the Krasnodar Territory to an Armenian and Ukrainian family, and her elderly parents still live there. It was to them that she came for a few days, when she had to enter Russia after humiliating filtering. But she says she would not be able to live there, so she has come a long way to Lithuania, to an uncertain future that she dreams of making happy for her granddaughter in memory of her husband and son. Angelica begins the tragic story of her family on the night of February 24. (with English subtitle)
