YUKA TAKAOKA | THE REAL LIFE YANDERE

A picture of a young Japanese woman covered in blood, casually smoking a cigarette while a man lays dying on the floor, has sparked a morbid obsession from people calling her “too beautiful” to be a criminal.

Until the middle of May 2019, Takaoka was employed as the manager of a “girl’s bar,” which is a type of a hostess club.
In October 2018, she met her boyfriend, Phoenix Luna or Runa by some reports, whose club is located in the Kabukicho red-light district.
They began to live together on May 20. Three days later, he came home late, despite the fact she was waiting for him.
Takaoka noticed her boyfriend “became cold” toward her and even though Takaoka was waiting for him, on that particular day, Phoenix came home late. She also found a photograph of him with another woman on the mobile phone he left behind.
When the boyfriend came home, Takaoka didn’t mention any photo, Instead, after he fell asleep, she stabbed him with a knife. Shocked, he woke up and fled to the first-floor lobby.

Yuka Takaoka, 21 years old at the time, rose to fame online for all the wrong reasons.
On May 23rd 2019, she was arrested for using a kitchen knife to stab her boyfriend, inside their fifth-floor residence in Shinjuku Ward, Japan.
Yuka Takaoka became a social media sensation and online Users found the situation, including Takaoka’s appearance and alleged actions highly compelling.
Officers arriving at the scene at around 4:00 p.m. that day found Takaoka seated on the floor of the building’s lobby, her hands and legs covered in blood.
In one image that emerged online later, she simultaneously talks on the telephone and smokes a cigarette with Runa, his abdomen sliced open, collapsed behind her on the blood-smeared floor. He was later transported to a hospital.
The victim later said that he held “no grudge” against Takaoka.

Yuka Takaoka was born on 28th of January, 1998 and she gained massive popularity after committing attempted murder out of love. On May 23rd, 2019, at approximately 3:50 PM local time, Tokyo Metropolitan Police arrested 21-year-old Japanese citizen Yuka Takaoka for allegedly stabbing a male acquaintance in her apartment.
The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition with two abdominal wounds made with a kitchen knife. During the police questioning, Takaoka was quoted saying “Since I loved him so much, I just couldn’t help it. After killing [him], I, too, wanted to die.”
