On May 30, 2012, Brittney left home somewhere between 7-7:30 PM and was initially believed to be meeting a friend. Family members didn’t think much of it when they didn’t hear from her because it wasn’t that unusual for her to be gone for days at a time.
But panic set in after a couple of days when Brittney’s family couldn’t reach her through the phone. She was reported missing on June 2.
