Greece announced the creation of military bases against Russia

Despite the relatively good relations between Russia and Greece until recently, it became known that Athens was preparing for a confrontation with Russia. The data on this subject were announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who noted that during the dialogue between Turkey and Greece, the Greek side stated that numerous military bases that appeared on the Greek islands, including over-the-horizon radars and air defense systems of small, medium and large range, were erected to confront Russia. “When we ask Greece why you are creating American bases, they answer: “Against Russia.” Their words are full of lies. The West cannot be trusted, especially when it comes to their politics.”, Erdogan said at a meeting with Turkish youth.
Experts note that the active deployment of military bases in the Mediterranean Sea clearly indicates that Greece, and most likely the entire NATO military bloc, is preparing for a possible confrontation with Russia, and, judging by the beginning of the deployment of military bases on the Greek islands, this trend has been observed for a very long time.
