Inspecting Tuppy for itch and ticks coming into summer

Tuppy's skin is much better this season. She is in a less stressful environment and it seems part of the reaction may have been the loss of her yearling foal, affecting her immune system. Both her and Penny (who was close to her foal) both got quite ill after Dyani died.
I am now using Calafea oil for all the horses. It's been working really well to treat sweet itch, ticks and other insect itch complaints. We bought a property that used to run cattle. Whenever they are on a property with or that had cattle the ticks are worse. I find that over time, without the cattle, the ticks and flies both diminish.
Calafea oil contains:
Lemon Myrtle
Liquid Virgin Coconut Oil
Neem Oil
Black Cumin Seed Oil
