Welcome to another episode of #WWFuquan, a behind-the-scenes walk-through series dedicated to showing the before, during, and after process of property restorations, providing you with insights into the work that goes into this arduous (yet rewarding) process.

In this episode, we get to see a full burnout restoration at Fuquan’s Irvington, NJ project. He bought the property at a discount, and turned it around to become the highest-selling single-family property ever in the area. Although the project was a huge success, it did have its fair share of unique challenges.

Being his first burnout restoration, Fuquan faced the new challenges of dealing with the extensive fire damage to the beams, and eliminating the persistent fire smell on the property. He also faced the usual delays waiting for permits, and he even stepped on a nail while checking up on the progress early on.

The many improvements that increased the property’s value by $248,000 include installing new exterior siding and windows, overhauling the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, repainting, installing brand-new appliances throughout the property, rebuilding the front and rear porches, and touching up the landscaping.

Finally, after all the work is done, Fuquan takes us on a walkthrough, and we get to see the final restoration of this 2-storey, 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom single-family property.
