Shock as Putin using BANNED cluster bombs to kill 'hundreds of civilians'

VLADIMIR PUTIN is using banned cluster bombs to injure and kill "hundreds of civilians," according to a new report.

Amnesty International published a report on Monday accusing the Russian President of killing "hundreds of civilians" in the north-eastern city Kharkiv with the banned weapon. The report, entitled "Anyone can die at any time", also accuses Moscow of indiscriminate shelling in Ukraine's second-largest city. It warned these horrific actions amount to war crimes. The rights group said: "The repeated bombardments of residential neighbourhoods in Kharkiv are indiscriminate attacks which killed and injured hundreds of civilians, and as such constitute war crimes." Amnesty claims it has evidence of the repeated use of 9N210 and 9N235 cluster bombs and 'scatterable' landmines by Russian troops in Kharkiv.
