UK protesters demand halting of Rwanda deportation flight

A London court on Monday (June 13) began hearing the first of two last-minute legal challenges to block the British government's policy to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda before the first removal flight scheduled to leave on Tuesday (June 14). Protesters outside the Royal Courts of Justice chanted "refugees have the right, here to stay, here to fight" and held signs reading "deportations are a violation of human rights".
