India police raze homes after riots over anti-Islam remarks

Authorities of India's Uttar Pradesh state have demolished the homes of several people accused of involvement in last week's violent protests, triggered by anti-Islam remarks made by ruling party members, state officials said on Sunday. Police superintendent Rajesh Kumar told local media that the houses were illegally constructed.
