The paths of a Dutch boy who fights for the Germans, a lost English glider pilot and a girl from Zeeland who is involved in the resistance, cross each others path. They are confronted with crucial choices about their own and other people's freedom.

November ’44. Op het Zeeuwse Walcheren vechten tienduizenden geallieerden en Duitsers tegen elkaar. De wegen van een Nederlandse jongen die voor de Duitsers vecht, een verdwaalde Engelse gliderpiloot en een tegen wil en dank in het verzet betrokken Zeeuws meisje kruisen elkaar. Ze worden geconfronteerd met cruciale keuzes die gaan over hun eigen en andermans vrijheid.
