Going to an Abandoned Chapel
RiP and Historian Kristin team up to capture a moment of history inside this chapel. Built in the late 1880's, this chapel held services for over a hundred years. We talked to the couple that owned it after Sunday services stopped being held. The husband said that he believes that the chapel was a place of worship for five different religious congregations throughout its lifetime. They had plans to convert the chapel into a house, but those plans never came through. The couple has donated the chapel to the village and they don't know what the village plans to do with it.
