A reporter questions Justin Trudeau on his mask wearing inconsistencies & mandates. Trudeau responds by saying, “the pandemic is not over yet and falsely claims hospitals continue to be filled.”

In fact, today in Ontario, which is Canada’s largest province, health officials are reporting the lowest COVID-19 hospitalization case count seen in the province since December 2021.

Canada as a whole has seen a steep decline in hospitalizations for the last several weeks. It’s also worth noting that not all hospitalizations are people in the hospital for Covid, but have just tested positive.
There are roughly 3000 people in the entire country hospitalized for and with Covid as of today.
