Farmers Protests and the Media Coverage

In this podcast, Kanchan Gupta shares his views on the Farmers' Bills 2020, the recent farmers' protests in India around Delhi, and the subsequent media coverage of the same. This podcast was inspired by a beautiful Twitter thread by Kanchan Gupta where he explained the way media houses used to operate in the past and then drew a parallel with the current agricultural reforms proposed by the government. Kushal also draws a parallel between the Anti-CAA protests and the Farmers' protests and highlights the failure of the media when it comes to educating the citizens about policies.
