I often wonder if the soul is aware of itself
Beyond this earthly shell we call the human body
I wonder, after we die, does our soul remember our names
Who we were, where we've been
And what we've seen and experienced in life
Or whether it just leaves any memory of us behind completely
I wonder if it is aware of us anymore
Or just of itself and where it is bound
