Sermon Title: “That the Church May be Built Up: Part 3”
Sermon Text: 1 Corinthians 14:13-25
As we continue 1 Cor 14:13-25:
In vv. 1-5, we saw The Purpose of Gifts with a call to Devote yourself to the Growth of the Church.
In verses 6-19 we see The Content of the Gifts with a call to devote yourself to the Clarity of the Truth. In vv. 6-12, we Speaking the Truth Clearly. In vv. 13-19, we Building the Church Fruit-fully.
In vv. 20-25, we see The Outcome of the Gifts with a call to devote yourself to the Worship of God.
2.) The Content of the Gifts: A call to devote yourself to the growth of the church. (1 Corinthians 14:13-19)
• Speaking the Truth Clearly (vv.6-12).
• Building the Church Fruitfully (vv.13-19)
3.) The Outcome of the Gifts: A call to devote yourself to worship of God. (1 Corinthians 14:20-25)
