Congressman Massie Questions Why Illegal Aliens are Counted in Census

In the Oversight and Reform Committee, I had the opportunity today to question the Attorney General of Louisiana, Jeff Landry, about the "perverse incentive" created for states when the census counts illegal aliens.
As AG Landry explained, the current system creates "a competition between states to try to attract illegal immigrants." Why? Because counting illegal immigrants in the census can result in a state gaining additional seats in the House of Representatives.
Because there are only 435 seats in Congress, a state that gains an extra seat due to illegal immigration, like California, does so at other states' expense. According to AG Landry, Alabama, Minnesota, and Ohio currently appear likely to lose seats they would otherwise have apportioned to them.
I invite you to watch Attorney General Landry's important testimony. My constituents are often incredulous to find out this happens, but it is happening.
Rep. Thomas Massie

Joe Biden is *NOT* president elect, votes have to be certified then they go to the electoral college, democrats are trying to rush the election while they have congress.
YouTube said they are going to put ads on all channels, if a channel is not ads friendly why would they put ads on a channel but not monetize it? They may have to start monetizing all channels!!!
