Congressman Massie On Need to Audit Stimulus Payments

The House Oversight and Reform Committee found the time to hold a hearing on the census yesterday. My question for the committee is: why aren't we holding hearings on the waste, fraud, and abuse occurring with stimulus checks?
Over a billion dollars of stimulus checks went to deceased people. The checks even say deceased on them! I'd like to have a hearing focused on why we are sending $1200 checks to deceased people.
Further, NPR has published an article detailing examples of the Internal Revenue Service sending $1200 stimulus checks to non-citizens living overseas. When we have Americans in need, why are we sending $1200 stimulus checks to non-Americans overseas? I know of an instance in which a Norwegian resident, who has lived in Oslo since the 1970's, received a $1200 stimulus check.

Many of my constituents, including constituents serving in the military, still haven't received their $1200 dollar check. It's an insult that we are sending them to rich Norwegians. This is a problem that deserves a hearing.

YouTube said they are going to put ads on all channels, if a channel is not ads friendly why would they put ads on a channel but not monetize it? They may have to start monetizing all channels!!!
