Millwall fans booed a BLM protest / display from the players at a Millwall v Derby match and some people have lost their minds over the whole thing.

I am a firm believer in freedom of speech and freedom of expression. I fail to see how booing at a football match where the players are promoting a political movement (BLM / Black Lives Matter) can be construed as being racist in any way, shape, or form.

I do not support the BLM political movement at all, yet in no way does that mean I am racist or have racist views. I firmly believe that black lives matter in the same way that every life matters – there should be no distinction. I also do not need to subscribe to the politicised organisation that is BLM in order to support racial equality. If you think I do…you are incorrect.

Here we will look at some of the virtue signalling and outrage baiting for lefty brownly points from various celebrities and newspapers. Not least of which is Gary Lineker, who always has something to say on this sort of thing, which is his right of course! He is very Wocal (Woke & Vocal – I like that!)

We check out what Wayne Rooney has to say about the Millwall v Derby match where this occurred and hear from some other ex-players, as well as a government ministers views.
