Persecution - The sixth sign

On the Mount of Olives opposite the Jerusalem temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew (Mark 13:3) ask Jesus: “What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” [Matt 24:3]
Jesus responds by saying that there will be:
1. the appearance of many false Christs
2. wars
3. famines
4. earthquakes in various places
5. pestilence in various places
6. persecution of believers
