SHOCK! Catholic School Board shuts down and bans Catechism of the Catholic Church

Outrage! At a November 11, 2020 meeting of the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB), three trustees shouted down a reading of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, condemned the Catechism's words as "dangerous", and warned the delegate to stop reading the Catechism!

The shocking incident in which Trustees publicly shouted down the Church's official teaching on homosexual acts, contained in paragraph 2357 of the Catechism, has arguably moved the board into a state of apostasy, but at the very least, nobody can deny that it is in a state of heresy.

Individuals who publicly deny, denigrate and ban official Catholic teaching cannot be said to be truly Catholic. These elected "Catholic" school trustees have placed themselves - and the Board - outside the moral boundaries of the Catholic Church.

According to Canon Law, his Eminence, Cardinal Thomas Collins has the ultimate responsibility of maintaining the Catholicity of the schools in his diocese. For years, he has been silent in the face of these attacks on Catholic teaching by trustees, or even been bullied into giving tacit approval to their heresy. His Eminence cannot ignore this most recent heretical outburst.

This time, Cardinal Collins has no choice. He must request the resignation of the three trustees who called the official repository of Catholic doctrine and moral teaching "dangerous" and "unacceptable", along with the other five who brought about this scandalous public heresy by voting to embrace the anti-Christian ideology known as Gender Identity Theory.

Cardinal Collins must immediately request the resignation of Trustees Joseph Martino, Markus De Domenico, Ida Li Preti, Maria Rizzo, Frank D'Amico, Norm Di Pasquale, Daniel Di Giorgio and Angela Kennedy. Until he does so in a public manner, we ask all Catholics in the Archdiocese of Toronto to withhold their Sunday donations. Instead, give that donation to the legal defense fund for Trustee Michael Del Grande, who is being attacked by this same cabal of heretical trustees and has hired a lawyer to defend himself.
